FOLLOW THE HALOS THIS SUMMER
Looking back on my baseball experiences, the Halos organization was instrumental in my development. I first came to the Halos in high school, with aspirations of playing in college, but no real idea of how to get there. Through the coaching and connections I received via a summer and fall with the Halos scout team, I got the opportunity to play 4 more years of baseball at Princeton University. During my college years, I spent 2 more summers with the Halos, playing against some of the best competition in the nation. Again, it is fair to say that I would not have been the college player or the person that I am without these experiences with the Halos. I am forever grateful for the time I spent in a Halos jersey and would highly recommend this organization to any aspiring player.

Looking back on my playing career, The Halos not only helped me get recognition from colleges but also improved me as a baseball player as well. I first started playing baseball with the Halos when I started high school and wanted to get looked at by Division 1 baseball schools. During my time with the Halos, I continued to improve my skills on the baseball field and was fortunate enough to play with some great competition as well. The coaches on the Halos had many connections and really helped create that path for me to play college baseball. I went on to play at UC Irvine and then finished up my playing career at Westmont College. I am so happy I chose to play with the Halos during my playing days and they helped me tremendously by getting me to the next level and getting my name out there. I recommend the Halos to any player who wants to get to the next level and create life-lasting relationships and memories that they will never forget!
The Halos have done so much for my career. Getting to the next level as a young baseball player is very overwhelming going through high school and trying to figure out what’s next. Chris Gomez and company are very well connected to that world and have worked their magic getting me in contact with countless D1 universities and MLB scouts. The Halos do a great job maintaining those relationships and continually put great players into programs that fit their needs. The amount of instruction I received from the coaches over the years really helped mold me into the player I’ve become now. I have been very fortunate to have been with the Halos since day one, and will always be proud to represent this program.

I began playing for the Halos during the fall of my sophomore year of high school and it is safe to say that the coaching I received during that fall helped me to develop not only physically but mentally as well. The coaching staff was extremely knowledgeable and really helped me to better prepare myself for playing my first year of varsity baseball. I continued to play for the halos into my senior year of high school (2015) where I gained exposure to D1 colleges from around the country and eventually signed with the University of Hawaii. The Halos were a key part of my success in high school and after having a tough first year at hawaii where I red shirted I came back and played for the halos that summer and was able to develop even further and go back to school and have a breakout year. I truly value my time with the halos and all the connections I made with players and the coaches along the way. I went on to graduate from the University of Hawaii in 2019 and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins and am still playing today, and I credit a lot of my success because of the things I learned playing for the halos. I would highly recommend any young player to the halos as they really value their players and put in the time and work that’s required to mold young athletes into top tier players on and off the field.
I played for the Halos from 2015-2017. I joined the Halos with hopes to get back into baseball after a 6 year layoff. I started on the Halos Redshirt Team, moved on to the Premiere Team, and finished with the Halos CCL Team. I needed countless reps along with knowledgeable coaches to turn my dreams into a reality, and the Halos provided just that. The instruction from coaches, and great competition allowed me to play two years at Oxnard College and two more years at UC Irvine (Big West). I not only developed as a player, but more importantly grew as a person while in the Halos Organization. The Halos played a key role in my development, and I’m thankful to have been apart of the organization.

As a high school player who wanted to continue playing at the next level, I I was given the exposure and guidance needed to make that dream a reality. Through the coaching and mentorship I received from the Halos organization I was able to live out my dream of playing college baseball at Fresno State. Once I decided to transfer out from Fresno, the Halos were pivotal in giving me the exposure needed and I was able to continue my career at the University of San Francisco. The Halos stood by me through my entire college career and I’m grateful to have had an organization like them in my corner. RJ Codeiro Bishop Diego HS Class of 2015 University of San Francisco 2019
I have played for the Halos organization for 5+ years. Ever since I was a freshman in high school I was called upon to play with the big dogs. Playing up taught me to become a better ball player and mentally challenged me. I was given the opportunity to make connections with college coaches early and some of my best friends came from this program. Without the Halos program, I would’ve never had the chance to go on and play at San Diego State out of high school. Halo’s staff works hard to put your name out there and get eyes on you. Being a halo for life comes with a territory and will always be apart of me as a baseball player. Also, a special shoutout to coaches Matt and Charles Merricks, the gurus of baseball and the GM Chris Gomez who will go to bat for any Halo in helping them get to a 4 year school
Playing for the Halos from my sophomore year in high school through my senior year in college was a blessing and a privilege. I had the opportunity to play year round and develop my craft with the best coaches I had played for. Being able to play with players from all over the country helped me grow as a player and a teammate. The Halos also gave me an opportunity to gain exposure with colleges and Universities. Which led to me receiving a scholarship and achieving bachelors degree. Playing baseball for the Halos gave me memories I will always cherish, and I am grateful to be a Halo for life. I have played with the halos since my sophomore year in high-school, 2017 -2018. I started with the red team and played with the red team throughout my years with the halos. This organization has helped me grow and excel at the game of baseball as well as help me grow as a person. Great coaching from coaches like the merricks brothers, has helped me overcome some of my bad habits I had when I came to this organization. The Halos have made me a better baseball which has allowed me to play at Ventura college, Oxnard college and now at Marymount California University. There is no doubt that with out the Halos in my life I wouldn’t be where I am today.
The Halos helped me immensely in my pursuit of baseball after high school. The coaching staff used their connections to get me a scholarship from the University of Hawaii less than a year after I joined the team. On top of getting me an athletic scholarship, I also learned a lot about baseball from the awesome coaching staff that included former professional and big-league ballplayers. Joining the Halos was a fantastic decision for my baseball career. Dustin Demeter , Dos Pueblos HS University of Hawaii
